Kwahu Easter Bash 2027 runs from Wednesday, 1st April to Monday, 7th April 2027, covering Good Friday through Easter Monday, with peak celebrations on Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday.
Where is Kwahu Easter Festival held?
The festival takes place in the Kwahu Mountains (Eastern Region of Ghana), mainly around Atibie, Abetifi, and Odweanoma Mountain, the official paragliding site.
Is paragliding included?
Paragliding viewing is included. Actual paragliding flights are optional and available at an additional cost, subject to weather conditions and pilot availability.

Flying Over Kwahu Was Unreal
I travelled from Belgium to Ghana for Easter 2024 (March) mainly for the Kwahu Paragliding Festival, and AfroBookings made it happen flawlessly.
Paragliding was the highlight of my trip standing on the mountain, watching the valley below, and then taking off was something I’ll never forget. The instructors were calm, professional, and clearly experienced. Everything around the event transport, timing, and safety was well coordinated. AfroBookings truly understands this festival.

Easter in Ghana Exceeded Every Expectation
I traveled from Charlotte, North Carolina to Ghana for the Easter 2024 Kwahu Paragliding Bash, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable trips I’ve taken.
AfroBookings handled everything from airport pickup in Accra to transport up to Kwahu which made the entire experience stress-free. The festival atmosphere was electric, but what really stood out was the professionalism around the paragliding itself. The instructors walked me through every step, explained safety clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable before takeoff.
Flying over the Kwahu mountains during Easter weekend, seeing the crowds and the landscape below, was surreal. It wasn’t just an adventure activity it felt like being part of something bigger.
AfroBookings clearly understands how to coordinate this event properly. The timing, crowd flow, accommodation, and safety planning were all handled smoothly despite the large turnout. I’d absolutely recommend booking through them if you’re planning to attend the Easter festival in Ghana.

An Unforgettable Easter Adventure in Ghana
Honestly, I never thought I’d paraglide in Ghana of all places! But from Accra to the Kwahu Hills, AfroBookings took such good care of everything hotel, transport, even the small details like breakfast before the big paragliding day. When I stood on the Odweanoma Mountain edge and looked at the valley below, my heart was thumping. The view was simply breathtaking. The local guides were patient, warm, and joyful they danced with us at the Easter street festival afterwards! Truly unforgettable.

My First Paragliding Festival Experience
As a solo traveler, I was a bit nervous at first Ghana was so new to me. But AfroBookings’ team made me feel safe and welcomed from Day 1. They helped with visas, cultural orientation, and festival access. The paragliding viewing was a highlight, and the street carnival in Kwahu was so vibrant I still can’t get the drumming and singing out of my head! Ghanaian hospitality is real, and the whole trip was deeply moving.

Amazing Views from the Kwahu Mountains
This was my first big adventure trip outside Asia. From Accra’s lively streets to the festival crowds in Kwahu, the entire Easter Bash was so uplifting! The Easter Paragliding tour was honestly one of my best travel decisions ever. Man, Ghana threw down something special! I signed up for the paragliding, sure, but the whole Easter Bash was insane music, dancers, food stalls, and real community energy.
