The program unfolds in two complementary phases. The first seven days are an intensive cultural arts residency students train daily in West African drumming, traditional dance, Kente weaving, Adinkra print-making, and oral storytelling, guided by professional educators from the University of Ghana's School of Performing Arts and the National Dance Company of Ghana.
